Clear minded psychology is a private practice located in Bella Vista. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based psychological support to children, adolescents, and adults. Our goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to overcome challenges.

Introducing Barine Zahid | General Psychologist

Barine is a General Psychologist registered with AHPRA, known for her empathetic and validating approach to therapy. Her primary goal is to support clients throughout their mental health journey, empowering them to achieve their objectives and discover new opportunities within a secure and encouraging setting.

Barine completed her Bachelor of Psychology (4th year specialist) at Western Sydney University in 2018 and subsequently completed her provisional registration from 2021 to 2023. Her practice encompasses clients across the lifespan, including children aged 5 and above, preteens, teenagers, adolescents, and adults. She is particularly passionate about her work with individuals from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds.

Since beginning her private practice in 2021, Barine has gained experience with a diverse range of presentations and referrals, including NDIS, Medicare, Workers Compensation, and private clients. Barine favors Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in her practice. During your initial session, you'll have the opportunity to discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and work with Barine to set collaborative treatment goals, aimed at enhancing your overall mental well-being.

Barine is fluent in both English and Farsi (Dari dialect). She is also a Member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (MAAPi), a SIRA-approved practitioner, and registered with Medicare as a provider of psychology items.

In her spare time, Barine enjoys spending time with family and friends, enjoying the outdoors, watching movies and reading.
